| The Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal organization in the world in which both men and women may belong. It is a worldwide organization with over 10,000 Chapters in the United States, Canada and 18 other countries. Though its rituals are based on historic events contained in the Bible, the Order of the Eastern Star espouses no religion and is neither secret nor political. Its members are comprised of men who are Master Masons and women with Masonic relationships as well as Majority Job's Daughters and Rainbow Girls. Star members have fun through fellowship, travel and charitable projects and achieve great satisfaction through pride in the ritual of initiating new members.
